ESE Florence is delighted to have Ms Linda Pacifici, Registrar at Palazzo Strozzi , as our next Guest speaker.
Palazzo Strozzi is a dynamic cultural centre of international importance offering a high-quality exhibition programme housed within a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture.

The lecture will be online on the 6th of May from 10:00 until 11:30 CEST.
Students from other locations can join the conference virtually via the platform Meet at this link: meet.google.com/cpv-cfjg-tgw

Ms. Pacifici will begin by introducing the company and its history, focusing on the role of the Exhibition coordinator and Registrar in the making of an exhibition. Behind the scenes, there is a team coordinating the exhibition like a movie director directing a film. Contacts with Lenders, liaisons with the curators, contracts with different providers of services, artists and international partners, fine art insurance, shipping and handling of works of art of inestimable value are amongst the responsibilities of an Exhibition coordinator and Registrar.

The production of an exhibition requires a highly skilled team ensuring that the best practice is being used to maximise the experience for visitors while maintaining the highest level of safety for the artworks.

It will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about this exciting and challenging role.
Please be reminded that Internship activities and Guest Speakers sessions are mandatory for all ESE students.

As for students attending from the other ESE centres, please make sure you confirm your attendance to your Internship Coordinator so that you can receive the link for the meeting via MEET.
