Guest Lecturer Maddalena Commisso from Lean In – “Are you unconsciously biased?”

Understanding unconscious biases today to become a better decision maker tomorrow.

ESE Florence is delighted to host as our next guest speaker MADDALENA COMMISSO from LEAN IN* on Thursday 10 February from 4 pm – 5 pm.

Maddalena is Procurement Coordinator at Chanel (shoes department) in Florence. She has been sensitive to gender issues from a young age, and decided to found the Florentine circle of the LEAN IN’s global network in Florence in 2020.

LEAN IN is an international network with the purpose of broadening awareness on gender issues by providing useful tools to boost professional and personal development. Founded by Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook’s COO), today it counts more than 50,000 circles spread worldwide.

Maddalena’s seminar will be interactive: she will start with some videos and a group discussion about various types of unconscious biases, focussed on gender bias. Students will be involved in classroom games as well.

The seminar will be conducted in presence at ESE Florence on Thursday 10 February at 4.00 pm.
