Read moreDuring the internship at the London Fashion Week, the students were able to apply the knowledge acquired during their Fashion and Luxury Goods Management classes at the European School of Economics London.
Their sponsor, a prestigious PR company, PopPr, despite the pressured environment, explained and followed the students through the steps of the organisation process.
Students were divided into different groups, running a variety of activities and observed a large number of British and international designers assisting to the organisation required for the catwalk preparation: makeup, dress preparation, accessories, lighting, ticketing and ushering the public.
Students enjoyed very much the time they spent in the PR team, interacting with different cultures and professionals and were put to the test in making impromptu decisions.
All came away with a better understanding of the business of fashion and the rigorous nature of the fashion industry.
