In order to support our students throughout their education journey, especially in dire times such as the current one, the European School of Economics has decided to fully implement online classes on all Italian Centers starting from next week.

To say that technology has completely changed the world of Education would be an understatement: only a few years ago it would have been unthinkable to have the same level of interaction on an online platform that in-person classes have and yet, here we are.

In the last few years alone, as shown by a study done by Best College and Babson Survey Research Group called “Best College 2019 Online Trends Education Report” more than a quarter of all college students surveyed in the US reported to taking at least an online class. This rapid expansion should have prompted schools to increase the number of online classes and topics that they offer, but in reality, the importance of online education is just now resurfacing on the market and it’s not by chance.

When an institution is faced with adversities, especially when it happens on a global scale, that’s when innovation has to take first place, becoming the catalyst for  a positive change that it will impact the present situation as well as reshaping the entire future of the industry for a long time.

It’s this reasoning, in compliance with the new health regulations approved by the Italian Government, that led the European School of Economics Italy to take a leap of faith and start conducting all of the classes on-line. It’s an enormous task and the sudden change of pace will prove to be challenging, but we wholeheartedly believe that it’s the right decision in order to ensure the level of excellence and quality of education that our students expect to receive.
