Read moreYesterday our Fashion & Luxury Goods Management students had the opportunity of visiting the McArthurGlen Headquarters, located in the fabulous Serravalle Scrivia. An Integral part of the experience was meeting three prominent figures within the company: Francesca Moccagatta (Office Manager), Filippo Orlando (Digital Marketing Executive) and Linda Forno (Retail Executive).
The meeting was primarily dedicated to discussing the impact that the so-called “Digital Revolution” is having on customer experience, especially in the setting of a design outlet: this new trend is pressuring companies across all industries to transform how they interact with their customers and this is especially true for the retail sector. This transformation is happening by the minute and most companies are embracing the challenge, though only those that get it right are rewarded.
The overall experience was truly amazing: some of our students had never actually been to a shopping outlet before and it’s easy to imagine the excitement they must have felt walking into such a glamorous environment. To top it all off our students were also offered a one of a kind “Fashion Passport” aka a 10% discount card to be used in selected McArthurGlen outlets.
