The partnership with Gaslini Academy is of strategic importance for the Department of Pedagogical Sciences, as it offers the opportunity to combine international excellence in the economic-managerial field with the specific expertise of a healthcare reference centre.

Thanks to this synergy, participants will be able to access training courses that integrate business and management tools with the knowledge and skills essential for operating successfully in healthcare facilities, thus filling a training gap still present in the sector.

The Department offers courses for all professionals working in the health sector

Each course offered by the Department is in a blended formula and consists of 64 hours in presence (8 hours Friday – 8 hours Saturday, twice a month for 2 months) to be added to 16 hours in live streaming (on Fridays not in presence, from 15.30 to 19.30, for 2 months).

Finally, 40 hours will be devoted to project work.

The figure of the Scientific Director of an IRCSS Health Facility plays a strategic and transversal role, at the crossroads of innovation, research and management.

This unique course provides participants with the necessary tools to promote and coordinate research activities, manage the dedicated budget and dialogue effectively with the General Management and other governance bodies.

The didactic programme delves into all the prerequisites for access to Scientific Management, and also covers project management and budgeting skills, essential for the correct allocation of financial resources, as well as aspects related to the evaluation and adoption of technological and organisational innovation.

At the end of the course, participants acquire knowledge and skills to support and direct scientific research within a complex healthcare context, acting as reference figures in the definition of clinical-scientific strategies, in personnel decisions and in the promotion of a culture of excellence and innovation.
