The European School of Economics (ESE) is delighted to announce this year’s annual Graduation Ceremony and Gala, set to take place in Madrid.

The Annual Graduation Ceremony will take place in the 400 Auditorium of the Reina Sofia National Museum, an iconic site in Madrid. The graduation gala will continue at the Santoña Palace, a place of great historical and aesthetic importance in the Spanish capital.

We are proud to announce Professor James J. Heckman, laureate of the Nobel Prize in Economics, as our guest of honor. Prof. Heckman has dedicated his career to understanding and addressing fundamental social and economic issues, such as inequality and social mobility. His interdisciplinary and innovative work will provide valuable insights to our graduates.

The event program will include the participation of Kety Fusco, a prominent Swiss harpist and composer who merges electronic and neoclassical music, as well as a flamenco guitarists performance.

ESE will also honor the trajectory of notable individuals, such as tennis champion Stefan Edberg, who have been recognized at previous ESE events for their significant contributions in their respective fields.

The event will also serve to strengthen the ESE Alumni Society, which provides a valuable network for individuals dedicated to maintaining and promoting the School’s ideals in their workplaces.

The graduation ceremony and gala is a cornerstone event in the ESE calendar, not just a celebration of our students’ academic achievements, but a reflection of our philosophy, “Visibilia ex Invisibilibus“: all that we call ‘reality’ is the projection of an invisible internal world. Our ideas, values, aspirations, and dreams are what forge our destiny. This spirit will be evident in every moment of the ceremony.

As our students step into the world, they take with them the essence of this philosophy, ready to mold their futures and make their mark on global business.
