The guided tour at 4 Madonne Caseificio was an incredible opportunity to experience the traditional process of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese making, offering a close-up look at the complete production cycle, a visit to the impressive warehouse and finally a tasting session where the students could taste this top-quality level cheese themselves.
After a bountiful lunch at Agriturismo I Gelsi, the students ended their exclusive culinary journey with a visit at Acetaia Giusti, leading producer of premium Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and other gourmet specialties, where they could taste a variety of artisanally made balsamic vinegar that the house has been producing for over 400 years.
