ESE Florence is happy to welcome Ms Fanny Isaksson as our next Guest speaker on Tuesday the 9th of November.

Fanny was born in Stockholm, where she completed her studies with a PhD in International Buying in 2010. She left Stockholm and moved to Florence at the age of 19 where she started her career in fashion and worked as a buyer for Luisa Via Roma. She is currently studying again for a second PhD in nutrition & dietetics. Today she is also a mother of two boys and creator & co-owner of Shake Cafe’.

Fanny and her partner Cristiano opened their first Shake Café store more than 8 years ago, with the idea of offering healthy and fresh food in an accessible way, making it easy and quick for clients to make healthier food choices.

They wanted to create an informal and friendly environment where clients always feel welcome spend their time working, studying or just taking a break.

Today, Fanny will discuss how the importance of sustainability and green thinking has always been close to their hearts from the beginning, putting a lot of research into energy sources (they are green energy certificated in all stores), packaging (only use compostable take away packaging from day one) and in the choice of menu (Cristiano himself goes to the fruit & vegetables market several nights per week choosing only seasonal and organic products when possible).

The lecture will be in presence, in ESE Florence, on the 9th of November from 10 am to 11 am CEST.

It will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about this stimulating field.
