Read moreAt the European School of Economics (ESE), we believe that true education transcends the confines of the classroom. Our approach aims to cultivate international leaders and pragmatic dreamers by immersing students in real-world experiences that shape their vision and skills. Recently, students on our Short Course in Hospitality Management experienced two unforgettable trips to the heart of Tuscan excellence, discovering how passion, tradition and innovation come together to create unique luxury experiences.
In the rolling hills of Bargino, our students were welcomed at Antinori in Chianti Classico, one of the most iconic and globally admired wineries. Here, they were able to admire not only the beauty of the vineyards, but also how the visionary architecture of Marco Casamonti dialogues perfectly with the landscape, a tangible example of how aesthetics and functionality can harmonise. During the visit to the underground cellars, they discovered not only the oenological secrets, but how 26 generations of the Antinorifamily have been able to harmonise a profound heritage with constant innovation, creating a global luxury brand. The final tasting was not only a pleasure for the palate, but an inspiring lesson in how history, quality and entrepreneurial vision build excellence – valuable insights for the future leaders in the luxury hospitality industry that ESE is committed to educating.
The immersion continued in the beautiful setting of Villa Monteoriolo, where students explored the soul of Italian hospitality through a private cooking class. Learning how to hand roll fresh pasta or compose a tiramisu to perfection was more than just a lesson: it was an immersion in the art of creating authentic and memorable moments, learning the value of raw materials and attention to detail. The day ended around a long table in perfect Italian style, sharing a delicious home-made meal accompanied by local Chianti. A practical activity turned into a celebration of the Italian lifestyle and human connections – an experience that reminds us how, according to the ESE philosophy, well-being and relationships are also fundamental in the world of business and hospitality.
These immersive experiences are not just visits, but exemplify the unique approach of the ESE Short Course in Hospitality Management: an educational model that integrates academic excellence with direct exposure to the leading realities of the luxury hospitality and food & beverage industry. We firmly believe that it is only through practical experience, contact with excellence and a deep understanding of different hospitality cultures that our students can develop the pragmatic vision and international leadership that will set them apart on their career path.
Are you ready to turn your passion for hospitality into a dynamic and rewarding career? Discover how ESE’s experiential, international and individual-focused approach can help you realise your unique vision and make your mark in the global hospitality world. Your dream is the starting point.
